Trevor I. Hughes, MA, LLB
Trevor is a proud graduate of Kings-Edgehill School in Windsor, NS, where he won the Governor General’s Medal for highest academic standing. He then obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from University of King’s College in Halifax, a Master of Arts in Classics and Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University in Halifax, and holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence and Master of Arts from Oxford University in Oxford, England.
Following his studies, Trevor started his working life in the Halifax area, practicing his few years at MacInnes Wilson Flinn & Wickwire. Following a few successful years in Halifax, Trevor left to return home to Windsor and work in the family business.
Trevor has operated his own law practice and been serving the Windsor and surrounding areas since 1989.
Trevor has led many community endeavors including the Windsor Hockey Heritage Society where he was the Founding Director and Vice President. He has also had numerous corporate directorships and served on many boards, including Kings-Edgehill School.
Amanda Forsey Taylor, JD
Amanda was born and raised in the Windsor area. After graduating from Avon View High School, she completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance from Saint Mary’s University in 2016.
Following the completion of her undergraduate studies, Amanda went on to obtain a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of New Brunswick’s Faculty of Law in 2019.
Immediately following her time at the University of New Brunswick Amanda returned to the Halifax area to complete her year as an articled clerk at a prominent personal injury firm. Once she was called to the bar in 2020, she shifted her focus from litigation and advocacy, to real estate, estate administration, and estate planning. Amanda worked for two years developing her knowledge in those practice areas until she joined Trevor I. Hughes in the spring of 2022.
Outside of practicing law, Amanda spends much of her after-hours time coaching cheerleading at Empire Athletics. Amanda continues to enjoy being active herself and enjoys running, golf, and yoga.
Andrew J. Marshall, JD
Andrew is Kingston born and raised, and very excited to be returning to practice in his hometown.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mount Allison University, Andrew went on to complete his law degree at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University.
When Andrew is not at work you may catch him refereeing hockey, curling, or volunteering in his community.
